Iran has to fulfil its nuclear commitments and play a constructive role in Japan

Japan wants Iran to fulfil its mission

Last Wednesday, June 12, Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe called on Iran to fulfil its mission under the 2015 nuclear agreement. Also, Iran has to fulfil its nuclear commitments and play a constructive role in Japan.

Abe said: “It is essential that Iran plays a constructive role in consolidating peace and security in the Middle East”. In addition, he applauded Tehran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

He added: “We sincerely hope that Iran will continue to adhere to the nuclear deal”. Certainly, Abe has become the first Japanese head of government to travel to Central Asian since 1979.

The current situation in the Middle East

The Prime Minister affirmed that “tensions are high in the Middle East at the moment”. “A military confrontation must be avoided by all means”.

He stressed that “peace and stability in the Middle East are essential for the prosperity of this region and of the whole world”.

On the other hand, Iranian President Hassan Rohani said that both countries “attach great importance to stability and security”. Also, he assured that “Iran will never start a war in the region”.

Fortunately, the president of Iran wants the nuclear agreement to remain in place, after the withdrawal of the United States in May 2018.

The 5+1 Group signed on July 14, 2015, with Iran the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (PIAC). This serves to restrict its nuclear program in exchange for lifting the economic sanctions in force for years.

Finally, Iran last month suspended some commitments under the nuclear agreement. Also, the country warned that in 60 days will reduce its cooperation if Europeans do not protect them against U.S. sanctions.

In conclusiĆ³n, it is a fact that Iran has to fulfil its nuclear commitments and play a constructive role in Japan.

Due to the current situation, do not forget you will need a Japan travel visa to enter the country as a tourist without problems.
